The Gap Year
Many major universities are recommending that after high school, students take a “gap year” to pursue greater life experience and leadership training. According to Good Morning America, “Higher education experts say that giving students an opportunity to explore the real world helps them mature. And early research reveals that once they restart their academic studies, they actually perform better than those who go straight from high school to college.” We believe that students who to take a “gap year” at RSM will gain crucial life experience and be equipped to bring transformation in their vocational pursuit.
Revival Culture?
Our objective is "to know God, and to make Him known." We are intentional about making the supernatural a natural part of our culture. Revival School of Ministry equips students to not only minister in the gifts of the Spirit but cultivates a lifestyle where the supernatural becomes a natural part of their life. We literally believe Jesus when He said “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” Revival School of Ministry is a unique supernatural discipleship program designed for young adults (18 -30) seeking to discover God’s individual plan and purpose for their life. It is also designed to allow students to encounter God regularly, walk with God faithfully, and experience life-changing growth through intense discipleship, academics, and ministry training. At Revival School of Ministry, we believe that students can be equipped with vital life skills by taking a “gap year,” and immersing themselves in a supernatural culture of revival. RSM students will grow academically, spiritually, relationally, and emotionally.
Timeline
The Revival School of Ministry is a three-year program that is broken up into three seven-month periods: First Year Discipleship, Second Year Leadership Training, and Third Year Internship. RSM is dedicated to identifying and training next generation leaders; whether students feel called to venture out into full time vocational ministry or to enter the business world as a marketplace minister. Revival School of Ministry aims to instill biblical principles, theological education, Christian character, and leadership training; which will equip students to effectively demonstrate the power and the love of Christ to everyone they encounter.
